I Want a Laptop!
Well, sorry it's taken me so ridiculously long to update my blog. Really, I was waiting for a computer I bought on eBay, but alas, it was doomed to be lost in the mail, and my blog was doomed to lie dormant until I gave up and bought a different one. I'll refrain from ranting about the first purchase. (18 Days till shipping!?) The second purchase shipped the day payment was made, and should be here Tuesday. Yay! I'm using a neighbor's iBook right now.
In other news... I'm back at school, with my brother and Ms. Grady, who are both doing very well. Word to my LU homies.
GO is an awesome game. I think we should just call it "stones", like in the WoT, but that's just my opinion. Thank you, Jason, for introducing me. You have truly enriched my life.
I had a good talk with one of my professors today about dealing with pain, both emotional and physical. We were talking about the "principalities and powers" in class and how their main weapon against people is the fear of death. I disagreed. Well, to quote Jordan, "Duty is heavier than a mountain; death lighter than a feather." Death doesn't scare me, but pain and suffering of myself or others close to me does. He suggested making a discipline of "Not my will but thine..." I think I will try it. At least start off the mornings with that statement, and try to recall it throughout the day.
Well, Jason wants his laptop back, so I will close for the evening. Good night!
